BALTIMORE, July 19 (UPI) -- Jason Bartlett's two-run single highlighted a seven-run outburst in the third that propelled the Tampa Bay Rays to an 8-1 rout of Baltimore.

After Matt Joyce doubled home a run and B.J. Upton drew a bases-loaded walk to make it 3-0, Bartlett delivered a two-run hit to break the contest open.

Sean Rodriguez, Carl Crawford and Evan Longoria added RBI hits in the big inning, making a winner of Wade Davis (7-9), who held the Orioles to one run on seven hits over eight innings of work.

Baltimore starter Chris Tillman (1-4) was pounded for eight runs on seven hits in an abbreviated 2 2/3-inning start in the first game of the three-game series.
