Tiger Woods announces tour plans

CLEVELAND, July 17 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Indians placed reliever Kerry Wood on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with a right index finger blister.
The move is retroactive to July 12 and is the 14th time the 33-year-old closer has been put on the DL in his career. Wood also spent time on the shelf earlier this year with a back strain.
He has appeared in 23 games with the Indians this year, compiling a 6.30 ERA and converting eight of 11 save opportunities.
Cleveland recalled reliever Jensen Lewis from Class AAA Columbus to take Wood's spot on the roster.
