Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

CHICAGO, July 14 (UPI) -- Surgeons successfully repaired the detached latissimus dorsi muscle of Chicago White Sox pitcher Jake Peavy Wednesday, the team said.
Surgery to repair the muscle in Peavy's right posterior shoulder "could not have gone any better," a White Sox statement said.
"We were very pleased with the results and are hopeful that Jake will be ready by the start of Spring Training 2011," the team said.
Peavy, a former Cy Young Award winner, was 7-6 with a 4.63 earned run average in 17 starts during his first full season with the White Sox after coming to the team last season from the San Diego Padres.
