MLS: Toronto 1, Colorado 0

TORONTO, July 10 (UPI) -- Fuad Ibrahim scored in the 61st minute Saturday and that was good enough to give Toronto a 1-0 victory over Colorado.

It was the first goal of the season for Ibrahim and it extended Toronto's home unbeaten streak to eight games. Colorado lost for the first time in seven outings.

A cross by Chad Barrett was not cleared by Colorado's defense, allowing Ibrahim to collect the ball and fire a shot past goalkeeper Matt Pickens from in close.

Toronto improved to 7-4-4 for the season and moved into a share of second place with New York in the Eastern Conference. Colorado is in third in the West.
