MLS: Houston 0, Columbus 0 (tie)

HOUSTON, July 10 (UPI) -- Columbus goalkeeper William Hesmer recorded his sixth shutout of the season Saturday and the Crew played Houston to a 0-0 tie.

Columbus earned at least a point for the sixth time in seven road games this season. The Crew (8-2-4) has two wins and four draws on the road, and they lead the Eastern Conference by a point over New York.

It was the fourth shutout for Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad, but the Dynamo (5-7-4) is winless in six straight contests.
