BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., July 9 (UPI) -- A first-half penalty kick by Robbie Findley lifted Real Salt Lake to a 1-0 win over the Chicago Fire Thursday.

Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando ran his scoreless streak to 489 minutes with the help of some solid defense.

Salt Lake has won 10 games in a row.

Findley, who had hit the goal post in the 39th minute, was awarded a penalty kick just a minute later when he went flying to the turf after contact with Chicago defender C.J. Brown. Findley slotted the ball past Chicago keeper Andrew Dykstra for his third goal of the season and the only score of the match.

Steven Kinney had two scoring chances for the Fire but hit the post both times.
