
TORONTO, July 9 (UPI) -- Bill Hall and Mike Cameron combined for six hits and seven RBI Friday, powering the Boston Red Sox to a 14-3 blasting of Toronto.
Hall had two doubles and a two-run homer while driving in four runs. Cameron had three hits to go with three RBI and three runs scored, helping Boston halt a four-game losing streak.
Both Cameron and Hall drove in a run during a seven-run Boston third that gave the Red Sox a 10-0 lead. Kevin Youkilis, Adrian Beltre and Cameron all had a solo homer in the fourth.
Jon Lester (11-3) coasted to the victory, giving up two runs on four hits with six strikeouts over six innings. It was the 900th career win for Boston Manager Terry Francona.
The loss was charged to Ricky Romero (6-6), who was touched for nine runs on five hits in 2 1/3 innings. He walked three batters in Toronto's fourth loss in six games.
