Vicente Padilla (3-2) limited the Marlins to two runs on six hits and struck out a career-high nine in 6 2/3 innings for the win, as the Dodgers won for the sixth time in their last eight games.
Rafael Furcal drove in three runs while extending his hitting streak to 10 games and his scoring streak to 12 games.
Southern California native Mike Stanton accounted for all three Florida runs, including two with a home run in the seventh inning. Chris Volstad (4-8) gave up five runs on five hits in three-plus innings to take the loss.
The Dodgers scored four runs in the second inning and built a 6-0 lead by the time Stanton's homer in the seventh got Florida on the board.
