Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

MONTREAL, July 2 (UPI) -- Tom Wargo and Russ Cochran took the first-round lead of the inaugural Montreal Championship Friday after each fired 7-under 65s.
Wargo, 67, was on his game Friday at Club de Golf Fontainebleau, carding seven birdies and no bogeys in making a bid for his first Champions Tour trophy since 2000.
Cochran was just as sharp, registering eight birdies and a single bogey as he sought his first-ever senior tour championship.
Knotted together in third place at 6-under 66 were Jay Haas, John Cook, James Mason, Jay Don Blake, Joey Sindelar and Tom Purtzer.
