Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

CLEVELAND, July 2 (UPI) -- Gio Gonzalez and two relievers teamed up to toss a five-hit shutout Friday and the Oakland Athletics blanked Cleveland 3-0.
Gonzalez (7-5) raised his career mark against the Indians to 3-0 with the victory, in which he threw 6 2/3 scoreless innings, walking four and striking out five.
Craig Breslow held the lead with 1 1/3 shutout frames and Andrew Bailey collected his 16th save with a scoreless ninth, snapping the Indians' five game winning streak.
Mark Ellis doubled home a pair of runs in the sixth inning to extend the A's 1-0 advantage.
Matt Talbot (8-7) absorbed the loss for the Indians, allowing five hits and two earned runs in 5 1/3 innings.
