ATLANTA, July 2 (UPI) -- Omar Infante's single in the 11th inning scored two runs and rallied the Atlanta Braves to a 4-3 comeback victory over Florida Friday.
After allowing the Marlins to take a 3-2 lead in the top of the 11th, the Braves struck for two in the bottom of the frame. Brian McCann led off with a walk from Leo Nunez (3-2) and Troy Glaus followed with a double to put runners on second and third.
Brandon Hicks came in to run for Glaus and Infante then lined a pitch to left, easily scoring McCann and sending Hicks around with the winning run, lifting the first-place Braves to their fifth triumph in seven games.
Martin Prado went 3-for-5 and drove in a pair for Atlanta. Jonny Venters (3-0) picked up the win despite allowing the Marlins to score the go-ahead run on his fielding error.
Florida starter Josh Johnson held the Braves to one run on six hits over six innings.
