MLB: Baltimore 9, Oakland 6

BALTIMORE, June 30 (UPI) -- Ty Wigginton and Luke Scott belted back-to-back homers in the seventh inning Wednesday, rallying the Baltimore Orioles to a 9-6 victory over Oakland.

Trailing 6-4 entering the frame, Nick Markakis drew a one-out walk from Brad Ziegler and Wigginton followed by pulling a long homer to left, tying the score.

Cedrick Bowers (0-1) relieved for the A's and promptly surrendered an opposite-field shot to the next batter, Scott, putting the Orioles ahead for good.

Scott limped around the bases during his home run trot, during which he grabbed at his left leg. He was removed from the game and no immediate word was given on his condition.

Adam Jones when 3-for-5 with three RBI and a homer for the O's. Miguel Tejada and Corey Patterson added round-trippers.

Matt Albers (3-3) was credited with the win for pitching a scoreless seventh inning.

Coco Crisp socked a three-run homer and Mark Ellis when 3-for-4 with a run scored for Oakland.
