

LONDON, June 25 (UPI) -- Second-seeded Venus Williams posted a solid win Friday, a day in which every women's singles match at Wimbledon was decided in two sets.
Williams had five service breaks in a 6-4, 6-2 third-round victory over 26th-seeded Alisa Kleybanova. Kleybanova grabbed a 3-1 lead but Williams quickly evened the match, won the final two games of the first set and the first two of the second to establish control.
No. 4-seeded Jelena Jankovic won her first set in 14 minutes and was on the court a total of 57 minutes in dropping 28th-seeded Alona Bondarenko 6-0, 6-3. Jankovic lost four points in the first set, three on unforced errors.
Eighth-seeded Kim Clijsters rolled by No. 27 Maria Kirilenko 6-3, 6-3 in 62 minutes. She was able to finish off four of the five break-point chances she created.
Justin Henin, the No. 17 seed, defeated No. 12-seeded Nadia Petrova 6-1, 6-4. Henin raced through the first set in 27 minutes, losing only three points on serve and 17 points overall.
Also, 11th-seeded Marion Bartoli defeated Greta Arn 6-3, 6-4; Vera Zvonareva, the No. 21 seed, ousted 15th-seeded Yanina Wickmayer 6-4, 6-2; Jarmila Groth topped Angelique Kerber 6-3, 7-5; and Tsvetana Pironkova advanced when Regina Kulikova, trailing 6-4, 2-0, was unable to continue the match.
