MILWAUKEE, June 22 (UPI) -- The Milwaukee Bucks have obtained forward Corey Maggette from the Golden State Warriors in a trade, the team said Tuesday.
The Bucks picked up Maggette and the 44th selection in the 2010 draft in exchange for guard Charlie Bell and center Dan Gadzuric.
Maggette, an 11-year NBA veteran, averaged 19.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 70 games with the Warriors, his second season with the team.
The former Duke Blue Devil connected on 51.6 percent from the field and averaged 29.7 minutes per game last season.
Bell played five years with the Bucks. This past season he averaged 6.5 points, 1.5 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 22.7 minutes per game.
Gadzuric has been injured frequently since signing a six-year, $36 million contract in 2005. He played 32 games in 2009-10, averaging 2.8 points and 2.9 rebounds.
