ATLANTA, June 19 (UPI) -- Troy Glaus bashed a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday to hand the Atlanta Braves a 5-4 inter-league win over Kansas City.

Brian McCann homered and Chipper Jones added two hits and an RBI for the victors.
Billy Wagner (5-0) was credited with the win after tossing a scoreless top of the ninth. Atlanta starter Kris Medlen surrendered three earned runs on five hits in 6 1/3 innings.
