

'S-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, June 17 (UPI) -- Janko Tipsarevic and Benjamin Becker, the only seeded players left in the field, claimed semifinal berths Thursday in the UNICEF Open in the Netherlands.
Tipsarevic and Becker, seeded seventh and eighth, respectively, will meet Friday in the semifinals of the Wimbledon tune-up tournament. The other semifinal has Xavier Malisse going against Sergiy Stakhovsky.
Tipsarevic defeated Peter Luczak 6-3, 6-3 in just over an hour. He lost a total of nine points over nine service games and didn't face a break point.
Becker knocked off Simon Gruel 6-3, 6-1 in 53 minutes. He had seven aces and no double faults. Gruel managed one service break but won nine points total in the other seven Becker service games.
Stakhovsky was also efficient in a 6-3, 6-4 win over Santiago Giraldo, dropping serve just once. Malisse needed three sets to defeat Alejandro Falla 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
