Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

PHOENIX, June 15 (UPI) -- Steve Kerr is on his way out as president and general manager of the Phoenix Suns, The Arizona Republic reported Tuesday.
The newspaper said Kerr will return to television as an NBA commentator after his three-year stint with Phoenix but retain his ownership stake in the NBA team.
The Suns produced a 52-28 record this past regular season and reached the Western Conference finals before being eliminated by the Los Angeles Lakers in six games.
Kerr played for the Suns for 15 seasons. He returned as part-owner and consultant in 2004. He became the GM in June 2007 after a period as an analyst with TNT.
Phoenix had three coaches during Kerr's tenure: Mike D'Antoni, Terry Porter and Alvin Gentry.
