MINNEAPOLIS, June 15 (UPI) -- Jason Kubel and Matt Tolbert homered to lead a 14-hit Twins attack Tuesday in Minnesota's 9-3 rout of Colorado.

Carl Pavano (7-6) gave Minnesota seven strong innings, surrendering three runs on five hits over seven innings, walking only one and fanning five to get the win.

Todd Helton and Troy Tulowitzki each smacked solo homers in the Rockies' first-ever visit to the new Twins ball park.
