DETROIT, June 12 (UPI) -- Carlos Guillen's solo homer in the bottom of the 10th inning Saturday handed the Detroit Tigers a 4-3 inter-league victory over Pittsburgh.
Brendan Donnelly (2-1) came on to start the 10th and the first batter he faced, Guillen, hit a low liner that cleared the right field wall and gave the Tigers their second win in the three-game series against the Pirates.

Johnny Damon went 3-for-5 with a run scored and Brennan Boesch added a pair of hits for Detroit.
Phil Coke (4-0) got the win after tossing a scoreless top of the 10th. Tigers starter Jeremy Bonderman yielded a pair of runs on six hits over seven innings.
Garrett Jones homered and collected two hits in the Pirates' loss.
