KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 11 (UPI) -- Kei Kamara and Graham Zusi scored Thursday to give the Kansas City Wizards their first victory in nine games -- 2-0 over Philadelphia.
The Wizards improved to 3-5-3 heading into the World Cup break. Philadelphia (2-7-1) is tied with D.C. United for the fewest wins in MLS a third of the way through the season.
Kamara scored his sixth goal of the season in the 9th minute. He took a pass from Davy Arnaud and fired the ball into the left corner of the net.
Zusi's -- his first of the campaign -- goal came in the 35th minute after he ran onto a ball played from Ryan Smith.
