PHOENIX, June 9 (UPI) -- Troy Glaus smacked an RBI double in the eighth inning to drive in the go-ahead run Tuesday, sending the Atlanta Braves to a 7-5 win over Arizona.
The Braves pushed across a run in each of the last four innings to snap a two-game losing skid.
In the eighth, with the score tied 5-5, Esmerling Vasquez (0-2) issued walks to Omar Infante and Brian McCann before Glaus got his decisive hit.
Infante and Melky Cabrera collected three hits and an RBI apiece and closer Billy Wagner nailed down the win with his 10th save.
Jonny Venters (1-0) was credited with the victory despite blowing a save in the seventh when he allowed Kelly Johnson to drive in a run with a single.
Johnson, Justin Upton and Mark Reynolds each went deep for the Diamondbacks.
