MLB: New York Mets 7, Florida 6

NEW YORK, June 6 (UPI) -- Jeff Francoeur's three-run blast in the eighth inning Sunday ignited a New York comeback and the Mets went on to down Florida 7-6 for a three-game sweep.

Trailing 6-3 entering the frame, Ike Davis walked, Rod Barajas doubled and Francoeur launched a wind-aided shot to left off the Marlins' Tim Wood, pulling the Mets into a tie.

New York then took the lead in the eighth against Clay Hensley (1-2) when Davis grounded into a double play, scoring Angel Pagan, who had reached earlier via a walk and finished 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Pedro Feliciano (2-2) was credited with the win for getting the last out in the eighth, and Francisco Rodriguez earned his 12th save with a scoreless ninth.

Cody Ross connected for a three-run homer and Dan Uggla added a solo shot for the Marlins.
