
SEATTLE, June 5 (UPI) -- Ervin Santana turned in a strong start and Torii Hunter went 3-for-4 with three RBI Saturday in the Los Angeles Angels' 11-2 win over Seattle.
Santana (6-3) won his fifth straight start. He allowed only one run over six innings, scattering seven hits, walking three and fanning two to boost the Angels to their seventh victory in eight games.
Hunter stroked a two-run double in the seventh and also notched an RBI with a bases-loaded walk in a six-run sixth inning, during which Los Angeles sent 12 men to the plate and collected five bases-on-balls.
Two of the walks from Shawn Kelley forced in runs.
Maicer Izturis and Howie Kendrick had two hits and drove in two runs for the Angels.
Seattle starter Ryan Rowland-Smith allowed only one run over five innings. Garrett Olson (0-1) was saddled with the loss for his part in the Angels' sixth-inning outburst.
