Twins' Cuddyer on bereavement leave

SEATTLE, June 3 (UPI) -- Minnesota Twins right fielder Michael Cuddyer is on a four-day bereavement leave, the team said.

Cuddyer was to fly to Virginia Thursday to attend the funeral of his father-in-law. He is expected to rejoin the Twins for a game against Kansas City Tuesday in Minneapolis.

The Twins put Cuddyer on the bereavement list after a 2-1 loss Wednesday in Seattle.
