MLB: New York Mets 10, Milwaukee 4

MILWAUKEE, May 30 (UPI) -- Luis Castillo stroked a tie-breaking two-run single and Angel Pagan homered Sunday in the New York Mets' 10-4 victory over Milwaukee.

Castillo's sharp grounder up the middle in the sixth inning plated Jeff Francoeur and Henry Blanco to give the Mets a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Pagan's two-run blast in the next frame upped New York's lead to 6-2 and helped the Mets salvage one game of a weekend series at Miller Park.

Former Milwaukee starter Jeff Suppan (0-2) was saddled with the loss in relief, getting lit up for four runs on six hits over 1 2/3 innings.

Rickie Weeks led the Brewers at the plate, knocking a solo home run among his three hits and three RBI.
