Tulowitzki's blast finished off a three-run opening inning and Colorado came up with three straight homers in the seventh from Seth Smith, Carlos Gonzalez and Ryan Spilborghs. The Rockies extended their winning streak to five games, their longest of the season.

Hammel (2-3) struck out eight and gave up two runs on seven hits over 5 1/3.

All of the Colorado runs came off Dan Haren (5-4), who lasted 6 1/3 innings. Haran has allowed 16 homers this season, most in the majors.
