MLB: Cincinnati 4, Pittsburgh 0

CINCINNATI, May 26 (UPI) -- Bronson Arroyo allowed five hits over 7 2/3 innings Wednesday to win his fourth straight start and carry the Cincinnati Reds past Pittsburgh 4-0.

Arroyo (5-2) struck out three and received home run support from Miguel Cairo and Chris Heisey.

Cairo hit his first homer as a member of the Reds in the fifth and Heisey came through as a pinch hitter in the eighth. Both home runs were solo shots.

The loss went to Ross Ohlendorf (0-3), who gave up three runs on eight hits in six innings. Pittsburgh has dropped five out of seven.

Cincinnati began the game tied for the lead with St. Louis in the National League Central.
