Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

FRISCO, Texas, May 20 (UPI) -- Mike Magee scored in the 17th minute Thursday, his first goal of the season, giving the Los Angeles Galaxy a 1-0 victory over Dallas.
Los Angeles remained unbeaten (8-0-2) despite playing without Landon Donovan and Edson Buddle, who are with the United States team that is preparing for the upcoming World Cup.
Chris Klein began the winning play when he sent a ball through the Dallas defense to Tristan Bowen. Bowen then passed it to Magee, who merely had to tap the ball into an open net.
Dallas fell to 2-2-5 and will next meet Columbus, the only other unbeaten team in MLS.
