ORLANDO, Fla., May 19 (UPI) -- Orlando, Fla., police used a stun gun to arrest the stepfather of Boston guard Marquis Daniels during Tuesday's Celtics-Magic playoff game, documents show.

Police reports filed after Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals at Amway Arena indicate Willie Buie, 55, was charged with resisting arrest with violence, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

A Celtics spokesman confirmed to the newspaper that Buie is the stepfather of Daniels, 29, who grew up in Orlando.

The reports indicated officers responded to a disturbance in an area of the stands behind one of the baskets and tried without success to escort a man identified as Buie from his seat. Officers allege Buie said, "I'm not going, (expletive) you," and continued to resist as more officers arrived.

Police allege that once Buie was taken to an area near the arena's security office, he refused to be handcuffed, at which point an officer felled him with a stun gun.

The Sentinel said records indicate Buie's criminal history includes an arrest for second-degree murder and an 11-year prison sentence, from which he was released in 1989.

Boston defeated Orlando 95-92 in Game 2, taking a 2-0 lead in the series.
