Scott wins Texas Open in 2-round marathon

SAN ANTONIO, May 16 (UPI) -- Adam Scott collected his first PGA Tour win in more than two years Sunday, carding a 5-under 67 to claim the Texas Open after a 36-hole marathon.

The Australian won the event after moving up from the sixth-place tie he found himself in following the third round, which was played Sunday morning due to weather delays and was followed immediately by the final 18 holes.
