ANAHEIM, Calif., May 16 (UPI) -- Kendry Morales homered twice and drove in five runs Saturday to power the Los Angeles Angels to a 12-3 rout of Oakland.

Morales' first clout was a three-run blast in the fourth inning that erased a 2-0 Oakland lead and put the Angels up for good. His second homer was a two-run shot in the seventh inning.

Brandon Wood drove in a pair of runs and Bobby Abreu got three hits and an RBI in the Angels' 15-hit attack.

Ervin Santana (2-3) lasted six innings to pick up the victory, holding the A's to two earned runs on seven hits over six innings, walking three and striking out six.

Tyson Ross (1-1) was roughed up for three runs in 3 2/3 innings, and the Oakland bullpen was pounded for nine runs on 12 hits.

Eric Patterson homered and collected three hits in the A's loss.
