Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 15 (UPI) -- Guillermo Barros Schelotto put home a penalty kick in the 90th minute Saturday and the Columbus Crew downed Chivas USA 1-0.
The game-winner came after Justin Braun was called for a foul on Chad Marshall in the 89th minute. On the ensuing penalty kick, Schelotto drove the ball past Chivas goalkeeper Zach Thornton, his fourth tally of the year.
Columbus (4-0-2) stayed unbeaten at home with the win.
Chivas USA (3-5-1) suffered its third setback in five road games and was shut out for the fifth time overall this season.
