SAN ANTONIO, May 15 (UPI) -- Brett Wetterich, Jimmy Walker, James Nitties and Matt Jones were bunched together atop the rain-delayed Texas Open leaderboard after Saturday's play.
The four were tied at 7-under 137 after 36 holes, which were completed after 3 inches of rain fell on the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio on Friday, washing out the day's play.
Walker and Nitties both registered 5-under 67s Saturday, while Wetterich carded a 68 and Jones notched a bogey on the 18th to card a 71 and fall into a share of the lead.
Seven other players were tied one stroke back at 6-under 138.
PGA officials said the tournament will be completed with a marathon, 36-hole session Sunday, with players going off in threesomes from the first and 10th tees.
"(It) is going to be a long day on this golf course mentally more so than physically," Jones said.
