Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
CARSON, Calif., May 9 (UPI) -- Brad Davis and Adrian Serioux scored first-half goals Saturday and the Houston Dynamo hung on to post a 2-0 victory over Chivas USA.
Davis scored the game's first goal just 3 1/2 minutes in when Brian Mullan looped a ball to him over the defense and Davis chipped it over goalkeeper Zach Thornton.
The Dynamo (4-3-1) made it 2-0 4 minutes later when Serioux headed a Davis corner kick into the net.
Chivas USA fell to 3-4-1 with the loss.
