LOS ANGELES, May 5 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant scored 30 points Tuesday, keying the Los Angeles Lakers' 111-103 win over Utah for a 2-0 edge in the Western Conference semifinals.

Pau Gasol had 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Lakers. Andrew Bynum scored 17 points and grabbed 14 boards.

"We had good rebounding, we blocked some shots, a lot of guys chipped in," said Lakers Coach Phil Jackson. "We had 13 blocked shots tonight -- that makes a big difference in the ball game."

The series moves to Salt Lake City where Game 3 will be played Saturday.

The Jazz were led by Paul Milsap, who came off the bench to score 26 points and 11 rebounds. Carlos Boozer and C.J. Miles both added 20. Deron Williams scored 15.

The Lakers shot 50.6 percent to Utah's 39.6 percent and opened up a 58-46 halftime lead. The Jazz outscored Los Angeles in each of the final two quarters and pulled to within four midway through the fourth, but could not break through.
