HOUSTON, May 2 (UPI) -- Luis Angel Landin, Brian Mullan and Samuel Appiah scored Saturday to power the Houston Dynamo to a 3-0 win over Kansas City.

All three got their first goals of the season in the victory, which lifted the Dyanmo's MLS record to 3-2-1.

Landin's goal came in the 24th minute after striker Dominic Oduro drove into the Kansas City area. He left the ball for Landin who used a soft touch to place the ball over goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen.

Houston's final two goals came after Wizards captain Davy Arnaud was issued a red card for stepping on Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad's hand.

Mullan scored in the 50th minute on a hard shot from the right side of the box, while Appiah kicked in an Oduro pass 3 minutes from time to finish the scoring.

Kansas City fell to 2-2-1 with the defeat.
