PHILADELPHIA, May 1 (UPI) -- Roy Halladay hurled a three-hit shutout and Shane Victorino socked a three-homer Saturday, leading the Phillies to a 10-0 rout of the New York Mets.
Halladay (5-1) walked only one and struck out six in his 118-pitch gem, his 52nd career complete game and 17th career shutout. The former Cy Young winner lowered his ERA to 1.47 with the dominating performance.
Victorino's clout highlighted a six-run fourth inning that chased the Mets' Mike Pelfrey (4-1), who saw his scoreless inning streak snapped at 27.
Chase Utley got three hits and scored three runs, Jayson Werth notched a pair of RBIs and crossed the plate three times and Raul Ibanez laced a two-run triple in Philadelphia's lop-sided win.
Pelfrey's streak fell short of the Mets record of 31 2/3 straight scoreless innings set by Jerry Koosman in 1973.
