BALTIMORE, May 1 (UPI) -- Miguel Tejada singled in Adam Jones from second with two out in the 10th inning Friday, giving Baltimore a 5-4 victory over Boston.
The Orioles won for just the fifth time in 23 games this season and snapped Boston's winning streak at three.
Tejada drove in three runs, one of them with a solo homer in the eighth that lifted Baltimore into a 4-4 tie.
With Ramon Ramirez (0-1) on the mound in the 10th, Cesar Izturis opened the inning by flying out to center. Jones followed with a double to right and Nick Markakis was intentionally walked.
After Matt Wieters struck out, Manny Delcarmen was called upon to pitch to Tejada. Delcarmen got ahead 1-2, but Tejada then stroked a single to center that brought home the winning run.
That gave the victory to Matt Albers (1-3), who worked a 1-2-3 top of the 10th.
J.D. Drew hit two solo homers for Boston, which rallied from a 3-1 deficit to take a brief 4-3 lead.
