"We had great race car in practice," Busch said. "I generally don't win that many poles, but I think we've got a pretty good race car."

David Reutimann qualified 0.87 seconds behind Busch, putting a Toyota on the first row of a Sprint Cup race for the first time since last July.

Points leader Jimmie Johnson qualified third, followed by Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman and Brad Keselowski.
