FOXBOROUGH, Mass., April 24 (UPI) -- Mehdi Ballouchy and Pablo Mastroeni notched goals Saturday as the Colorado Rapids posted a 2-1 decision over New England.

Ballouchy got Colorado's first goal just 14 minutes into the game on a long-range shot that skipped in the box and skidded past goalkeeper Preston Burpo to make it 1-0.

After New England tied it just 4 minutes later on a score from newly signed Marco Parovic, Mastroeni got the game-winner for Colorado (3-1-1) in the 73rd minute.

Conor Casey drew the defense in the penalty area and laid the ball off to the veteran midfielder, who unleashed a 35-footer into the net.

New England fell to 2-3-0 with the loss.
