Nolasco (2-0) was sharp, scattering seven hits, fanning nine and allowing no walks in the gem. Leo Nunez earned his fourth save by pitching a scoreless ninth.

Uggla's solo shot in the second put the Marlins up 1-0, and Florida extended its lead to 3-0 in the next inning on Carroll's homer and an RBI single from Cantu.
