
DENVER, April 24 (UPI) -- Aaron Cook pitched a five-hit complete game Saturday as the Colorado Rockies earned a split of a doubleheader with an 8-1 rout of Florida.
Miguel Olivo socked a three-run homer and Troy Tulowitzki stroked a two-run double as the Rockies bounced back after dropping the opener 4-1.
Cook (1-2) was tough, scattering five singles, walking two and fanning four in the gem. He also was stellar at the plate, hitting a pair of singles and scoring twice.
Dexter Fowler added three hits, coaxed a pair of walks and crossed the plate the twice for the Rockies in the victory.
The Marlins' Jorge Cantu was held hitless, snapping his 21-game hitting streak, but still got an RBI on a groundout.
Nate Robertson (2-1) took the loss for Florida, yielding five hits and five runs over four innings.
