HOUSTON, April 21 (UPI) -- Jason Michaels' round-tripper highlighted a three-run eighth inning that rallied the Houston Astros to a 7-5 win over Florida Tuesday.
With the score tied 4-4 entering the bottom of the eighth, Hunter Pence led off with a double and Pedro Feliz singled off Tim Wood (0-1). One out later, Kaz Matsui's sacrifice scored Pence to give Houston the lead and Michaels came off the bench to sock a two-run blast, breaking the game open.
Lance Berkman, in to the lineup for the first time since off-season knee surgery, drove in two runs, as did J.R. Towles as the Astros won their third straight game.
Brandon Lyon (1-1) pitched a scoreless eighth to get the win.
Jorge Cantu hit his fourth homer of the year in Florida's loss.
