Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

PITTSBURGH, April 20 (UPI) -- Rickie Weeks stroked an RBI triple and drove in a run with a single Tuesday in the Milwaukee Brewers' 8-1 pounding of Pittsburgh.
Casey McGehee, Corey Hart and Ryan Braun had two RBI apiece and Alcides Escobar went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the Brewers' second straight win -- and their third in seven on a nine-game road swing.
Dave Bush (1-0) held the Pirates scoreless over seven innings while allowing only three hits and four walks to go with two strikeouts.
Pittsburgh got its lone RBI from Lastings Milledge while Andrew McCutchen collected three hits.
Starter Charlie Morton (0-3) was roughed up for six runs in just over an inning.
