HOUSTON, April 17 (UPI) -- Geoff Cameron and Lovel Palmer scored early goals Saturday as the Houston Dynamo coasted to a 3-0 victory over Chivas USA.

Cameron and Palmer both scored before the 20-minute mark and Dominic Oduro added a third marker in the 60th minute as Pat Onstad notched his first shutout of the year for Houston (2-1-1).

Onstad made six saves in registering his first 2010 gem after collecting 10 shutouts last year.

The Dynamo got all the scoring they would need when Cameron collected a pass from Corey Ashe and found the bottom-left corner from 18 yards for his first goal of the season.

Netminder Zach Thornton, who was coming off a shutout in his season debut last week, stopped 7-of-10 shots in the loss for Chivas (1-3-0).
