MIAMI, April 15 (UPI) -- Michael Beasley scored 25 points and collected 13 rebounds Wednesday as the Miami Heat bumped New Jersey 94-86 in double overtime.

Mario Chalmers popped in 15 off the bench while Dorell Wright and James Jones added 11 points apiece for the Heat, who were playing without several regulars in their regular-season finale.

They will take on Boston in the first round of the playoffs.

The Heat's Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem and Jermaine O'Neal all sat out the contest while tending to minor injuries.

Yi Jianlian led New Jersey with 23 points and 15 rebounds. The Nets finished the season at 12-70, limping to the end of the worst season in franchise history by dropping three straight.
