MINNEAPOLIS, April 15 (UPI) -- Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points Wednesday and the Detroit Pistons finished their worst regular season in 29 years with a 103-98 victory over Minnesota.

The win boosted the Pistons' final record to 27-55, the team's low-water mark since their 1980-81 performance of 21-61.

Jonas Jerebko had 12 points and 13 rebounds, Charlie Villanueva put in 16 points and both Austin Daye and DaJuan Summers contributed 12 in the Detroit win, in which the Pistons erased a nine-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter by going on a 15-3 run.

Corey Brewer pumped in 27 points and Al Jefferson added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who ended the 2009-10 season with a woeful 15-67 record.
