Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

DENVER, April 15 (UPI) -- Chris Iannetta's 10th-inning, walk-off homer sent the Colorado Rockies to a dramatic 6-5 victory over New York Wednesday.
Iannetta's left-center field shot capped a 3-for-5 night while Ryan Spilborghs added a three-run blast to lift the Rockies to their third straight win.
Randy Flores (1-0) got credit for the win after notching the final out in the top of the 10th. Colorado starter Aaron Cook pitched six innings, allowing three runs on four hits.
The Mets got homers from David Wright and Jeff Francoeur in the loss, which saw New York fall to 2-6 to start the season.
