CLEVELAND, April 15 (UPI) -- Shin-Soo Choo's eighth-inning, three-run home run Thursday boosted the Cleveland Indians to a 3-2 victory over the Texas Rangers.
David Huff (1-1) pitched a four-hitter in picking up the victory and getting his first complete game. He walked one and struck out four in helping the Indians break a five-game losing streak.
The Rangers' Matt Harrison (0-1) took the loss despite giving up five hits and one earned run over seven-plus innings.
Asdrubal Cabrera and Grady Sizemore both reached on Texas errors to open the Cleveland eighth before Choo connected for a shot that ended up over the center-field wall.
The Texas runs came on Michael Young's two-run homer in the fourth inning.
The game was completed in a brisk 2 hours, 3 minutes.
