SAN FRANCISCO, April 12 (UPI) -- Tim Lincecum struck out 10 and Pablo Sandoval hit a two-run home run and scored three times Sunday in the San Francisco Giants' 6-3 win over Atlanta.

Lincecum (2-0) went seven innings -- settling down after giving up a two-run first-inning home run to Brian McCann.

Kenshin Kawakami (0-1) gave up three runs on five hits and a walk in six innings for the Braves -- who got a solo home run from Jason Heyward in their third loss in four games.

The start of the game was delayed four hours by rain.
